Training: 5:30am lifting and cardio, 11am boxing or BJJ technique, 5pm live sparring

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training to fight when I started wrestling at 12 years old.

What ranks and titles have you held? 2nd degree black belt in Judo, World Fighting Alliance (WFA) Welterweight World Champion.

Do you have any heroes? Ghandi, Malcolm X

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It gives me an opportunity to fight the top ten welterweights in the world.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? University of Oklahoma/ public affairs and administration

What was your job before you started fighting? Wrestling coach

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? National Junior College Athletic Association Sportsman of the Year, four-time USA Wrestling All-American and a 2000 Olympic trials finalist.
