Biografia

TRAINING: Every day of training is the same. Strength and conditioning in the early am, run midday, and wrestling, jitz and MMA sparring in the pm.

When and why did you start training for fighting? 2005. To test my abilities as an athlete

What titles have you held? RITC lightweight and bantamweight Champion

Do you have any heroes? None

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I’m very excited about the transition. I’m fighting in my original weight class now, and now us lighter fighters are finally getting the recognition we deserve.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes. Pharmacy

What was your job before you started fighting? Pharmacy tech

Favorite grappling technique: Heel hook  

Favorite Striking technique: High kick

•    Four wins by submission, four by KO

•    Had 1-1-1 record in WEC – last bout there was second round KO of Chan Sung Jung, “The Korean Zombie”

•    Former high school quarterback

•    Had three fight winning streak before entering the TUF house, winning his last fight before appearing on the show in 24 seconds (over Nick Buschman, two days after the TUF8 tryouts)
