When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training when I was very young because martial arts have always been my passion.
What ranks and titles have you held? Canadian amateur kickboxing champ and UGC Canadian lightweight champion
Do you have any heroes? no
What is your favorite technique? Back kick
What does it mean for you to fight in the WEC? It means a lot to me. It provides me a chance to prove I’m part of the world elite class of fighters that are out there, especially at 145, where the WEC have the best.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Degree in Graphic Design
What was your job before you started fighting? Working in 3D animation
Most memorable professional fight (who, where, why)? The fight in XMMA with JT Wells because it was a fast paced action packed fight, which I enjoy.
What was your most challenging professional fight (against who, when, what was the outcome)?
The fight against Sam Stout because I took the fight on short notice and I was the smaller guy. I lost but still put on a great show for the fans.

Did you compete in any other sport(s) at college or professional level (what sport, where, how long)? Nope, but I did I play a lot of basketball and football in high school.
Who were your training partners for this fight? All the guys at Tri-Star gym, the Montreal wrestling club and boxers from Ness martial arts
Did you put more emphasis towards a fighting style or adjust your training to prepare for your opponent (what did you do differently/why)? I sharpened my tools a little more for this fight.
What, other than WINNING, are you using for motivation for the fight? I'm looking towards a victory with the WEC and putting my name within the best fighters of the organization.
What is your favorite thing about this sport? The diversity of available weapons that are used for battle in MMA.
How long do you see yourself staying in this sport? For another 7-8 years if my health permits it
