When and why did you start training for fighting? About 2002, I started jiu-jitsu tourneys, then started working with Sean Sherk and he said I should fight... that's how it came about.
What ranks and titles have you held? Brown belt in jiu-jitsu, Extreme Challenge 63 tournament champion; IFC middleweight champion.
Do you have any heroes? I'd have to say Sean Sherk and Randy Couture.
What is your favorite technique? Key lock
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means it time to make a statement!
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No
What was your job before you started fighting? Road construction.
