Diego Nunes

TRAINING: I train at Black House in Los Angeles in the mornings, three times a week, where we work on my MMA game, striking, ground work, wrestling and sparring. In the afternoons I work on my striking at Maywood Boxing Club and my strength and conditioning at the UFC Gym in Torrance, CA.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training for fun at age 13. When I was 15 years old I took it seriously. At age 17 I fought amateur Muay Thai and Boxing matches.

What ranks and titles have you held? Southern Brasil Muay Thai and Boxing Champion

Do you have any heroes? Jesus

What is your favorite technique? Guillotine

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's a dream come true. It's not only my dream, but by fighting I am giving hope and the ability to dream to all the people around me.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No

What was your job before you started fighting? I played soccer, but I had to make a decision and I chose fighting.
