TRAINING: A typical training day for me has been to begin training at 10:30 am, stretching and warming up. Monday and Thursday have been focused on ground work along with lots of cardio to build my strength where I was injured. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I have been focusing on Muay Thai and boxing. Saturday I work and review on what we did the prior week. And finally, on Sunday I get as much rest as possible.

When and why did you start training for fighting? A long time ago – I always liked the sport and have always been a fan of fighting.

What ranks and titles have you held? Bellator Middleweight Champ, CFC Middleweight Champ

Do you have any heroes? Jesus

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means everything

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No

What was your job before you started fighting? Security and construction

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Judo Olympian
