When and why did you start training for fighting? My first fight was in 1998. I love to compete and set goals for myself.

What ranks and titles have you held? High school state heavyweight wrestling champ

Do you have any heroes? My mother and grandparents

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? A dream come true

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Eastern Illinois - degree in sociology

What was your job before you started fighting? Still a Chicago police officer

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Junior college All-American wrestler, three-time Division I national qualifier
